For some, moving into a dream home is simply a matter of choosing a ready made property that resonates with their idea of a dream home. For others, creating their forever home takes vision, determination and the will to see a massive project through to completion. Every detail needs to be independently considered to ensure all aspects of the new home is perfectly suited to the owner’s needs.
Such was the case with the new owners of this 3 bed, detached property in Ipswich, Suffolk. Set in its own spacious grounds, this dwelling had become dilapidated after many years of neglect. The property needed extensive renovation works in order to bring it up to standard. The paint around the windows was peeling and the pebble dash render showed clear signs of damp problems, the guttering was in very poor condition and the owners discovered even more issues to be addressed internally soon after they began to renovate the rooms.
Undeterred by the sheer scale of work ahead, they knew what they wanted, our clients worked alongside our designers and provided illustrative sketches in the early days of the project in which to to assist with creating their vision of the complete renovation of their dwelling, with much modernisation to their exact taste. There was also development of a 2 storey Extension to the rear of the property and the reconfiguration of some internal walls to better utilise the interior space they had available to them.
