This transformative project in Little Clacton was as rewarding as it was impressive for us to be involved with – an otherwise empty plot of land which encompassed a lone, derelict and dilapidated timber structure that was simply crying out to be demolished and have a modern home for a loving family built in its place!

Working very closely with our client from start to finish, we got to work promptly and sought to create a new design that strove to contribute to the streetscene, working with and lending support both aesthetically and practicality around the neighbouring houses.

Our design has produced both stunning living and social spaces for a family to grow and develop into, this beautiful rejuvenation of a neglected plot has been transformed into an excellent and elegant family home to call their own throughout years to come.

The Final Designs

The new development offers plentiful parking solutions, connecting with a brand new driveway off the main road as well as accompanying single garage to the rear of the plot. At ground floor level, our design boasts a large and light entrance hallway connecting a study, ground floor w/c, living room and a huge 50sqm kitchen/living/dining area at the rear of the property! We proposed two large sets of bi-folding doors for access into the back garden which will be great for socialising and enjoying the warmer weather, giving the home owner an opportunity to connect the house with the garden together as they desire. At first floor, we included 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom, family bathroom and a master bedroom with an accompanying en-suite, all of which have been completed to a very high standard by the developer. We think that this development has offered a world of benefit, making the best use of space available to the plot and complementing the immediate area in a multitude of ways.
