We all long for extra living space, right? Especially when we have ever-growing families. Today, moving can be extremely expensive, especially when you need more space and not less. It’s becoming more of a trend to improve, not move. Why? Because it’s cost effective and a lot less hassle than having to pick up your life and start anew in a new area. This home is in a fantastic area and has great connections to the A120 and beyond. Moving would have meant losing this access and upheaving their whole life.
This family approached us with a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve with their extra space. They were in desperate need to expand their home with further Bedroom space to accommodate their growing family. So, by utilising the Permitted Development Rights, we’ve designed a stunning Loft Conversion that is a credit to the property and to the family.
The roof on this property allowed us to really capitalise on space available to us. It gave us the opportunity to provide this family home with a Large Master Bedroom, an En-Suite and a Large Dressing Room. We even added extra storage space for common storage within the Eaves. To further exploit the space available to us, we suggested including a central staircase above the existing one. The new Elegant Central Staircase showcases Roof Lights above to let light flow into the stairwell during the day. It also provides a seamless and somewhat natural progression throughout the house
